Huawei Nova Y9a: Pop-up camera smartphone with MediaTek Helio G80 chip and 40W fast charging for $415
Huawei has unexpectedly introduced a new smartphone to the global market.
What is known
The device was called Huawei Nova Y9a. He received a 6.63-inch IPS-matrix without cutouts and holes. Instead, the smartphone was equipped with a 16MP pop-up front camera. The main one, in turn, received four sensors at 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. It supports night mode, electronic stabilization and can record video in 1080p.
The MediaTek Helio G80 processor is responsible for the performance of the device. The chip is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. Also Nova Y9a received a 4300 mAh battery with 40-watt fast charging, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The novelty comes with the Android 11 operating system. Naturally, there are no Google services in the device.
Price and when to expect
Huawei Nova Y9a has already started selling in South Africa. The novelty is not cheap - $415.
