BOE unveils the world's first monitor to support refresh rates over 500Hz

Chinese panel maker BOE Innovation Exchange has unveiled the fastest screen monitor on the market.

What is known

The novelty received a diagonal of 27 inches, FHD + resolution and an IPS-matrix, which boasts support for a picture refresh rate of more than 500 Hz. According to the company, this result was achieved thanks to use Oxide backplane with high mobility. The device specifications also state a 1ms response time, support for 8-bit colors, and 8Lane eDP output. 

When to expect

Unfortunately, the novelty is a prototype and it is not known when such devices will enter the market.
