It looks like Elden Ring will use Easy Anti-Cheat

Reddit community users scrolled through the Elden Ring user agreement on Steam and found a mention of Easy Anti-Cheat, one of the most popular anti-cheats in games. Thus, Elden Ring may be the first game in the genre of "Souls Like", which will implement a full-fledged anti-cheat. 

Games of the genre have always had problems with cheats on the PC. FromSoftware only hung software charms, as well as revealed hidden bugs, if it detected players with abnormally high performance. However, according to Reddit residents, this did not save the situation. The entire defense of the game could be bypassed by the basic Cheat Engine. 

It has even come to the point that users have collected their own antiques for Dark Souls - for example, Watchdog, which throws out of your online session completely brazen individuals. According to a discussion on Reddit, Easy Anti-Cheat is unlikely to solve all the problems with cheats, but at least cut off the primitive hacks - most likely, the vast majority of those in "Souls".
