Peloton Heart Rate Band: Armband with built-in heart rate sensor

The American sports equipment manufacturer Peloton has announced a new gadget — the Heart Rate Band.

What it is

This is a sports armband that boasts a heart rate sensor. It connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and is powered by a built-in battery. It, according to the company, is enough for 10 hours of operation of the device. The gadget is charged using a special docking station.

There are five LED indicators on the front of the headband. They show the heart rate zone during the workout.

Price and when to expect

Peloton Heart Rate Band can already be purchased on the official website of the company in the USA, Canada, australia, Germany and UK. The asking price is $90.
