High-quality images of vivo NEX 5 leaked to the Network - many cameras, a large front camera and a curved display

More and more information appears on the World Wide Web about the vivo NEX 5 smartphone, which will be the first update of the NEX line in two years.

What is known

The series has always been experimental. It was in it that the retractable front camera debuted in 2018. It remained an integral attribute of all NEX smartphones, with the exception of the Dual Display version, the main feature of which is reflected in the name.

In vivo NEX 5 will do without bright experiments. According to the new renders, the smartphone will be equipped with an OLED screen with curved sides and a large hole for the front camera. According to preliminary data, the diagonal of the display will be 7”, and the sweep frequency is 120 Hz.

At the back we see a round platform of the main camera, which, in turn, is located on a separate platform almost the entire width of the rear panel. According to insiders, four optical modules are capable of covering all focal lengths, and one of the telephoto lenses (bottom right) will receive periscope optics with a 5x zoom.

Previously, vivo NEX 5 was credited with a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, up to 512 GB of permanent memory and support for 80W fast wired charging. The battery capacity will be 5000 mAh. The presentation of the flagship will take place before the end of the first quarter, possibly at MWC 2022.
