Sony's latest demo event was all about Ghostwire: Tokyo, with a detailed gameplay trailer - and the game really looks creepy. Developed by Tango Gameworks, the studio behind the Evil Within series, this paranormal action game takes place in a modern-day version of Tokyo full of folklore creatures. It is described as a "reimagining" of the Japanese metropolis, only with supernatural beings lurking around.

The gameplay trailer is nearly 10 minutes long and is full of terrifying creatures and nimble first-person action. It also contains a little more detail on the history of Ghostwire, which takes place after the mysterious event. As a result, most of the city's population disappears. The video shows how protagonist Akito, fused with the spirit of an eloquent detective named K.K., can use various elemental powers collectively referred to as ethereal weave to destroy his enemies, but you will also have more traditional weapons such as a bow, kunai etc.

Ghostwire was originally scheduled to release last year, but like many other games, the project was ultimately shelved. The game is now expected to release on March 25 on PS5 and PC. It is also one of the ten most anticipated games of the year.
