The American hacker P4x decided to take revenge on the North Korean government for being the victim of a cyber attack from North Korea in 2021.
What is known
Last year, North Korean experts decided to attack Western cybersecurity researchers in order to find holes in security protocols. One of the victims was a user under the nickname P4x, who in January 2022 decided to take revenge on the government of the DPRK.
According to the American hacker, his goal was to piss off the leaders of the DPRK. He launched DoS attacks on servers and routers that provide support for North Korea's network. As a result of a cyber attack in mid-January, the DPRK experienced problems with interruptions in the functioning of the Internet, and the crown of all this was the complete shutdown of the network on January 26.
According to P4x, government agencies were the first to be affected by the attack. ordinary people do not have access to the Internet anyway. The hacker is now planning to attack other North Korean systems. And yes, during the "revenge" P4x was sitting in his chair at home, eating chips and watching the movie "Alien".
