The Batman Arkham Collection is Coming to Switch, French Retailer Says
According to VGC, French retailer WTT is currently up for sale with the Batman Arkham Collection - Switch for €60 with a release date of August 31, 2022.
While there have been many examples of retailers listing games that weren't coming out, WTT previously announced a port of The Witcher 3 for switch before it was officially announced. This lends some credibility to the announcement of the Batman Arkham Collection.
This isn't the first time Batman has appeared on Nintendo. When the Wii U was launched, Rocksteady ported Batman Arkham City to the console as an "Armored Edition", adding touchpad support for gadgets.
If Batman Arkham City can run on the Wii U without too much trouble, then Arkham Asylum will do just as well. The only concerns are with Batman Arkham Knight, which is still one of the most technologically advanced games out there, which makes the prospect of playing on a portable device worrisome.
Still, if games like The Witcher 3 can be ported to Switch, it's no surprise that the latest Batman game in the trilogy is coming to console.
The Batman Arkham Collection was previously released in 2019 for PS4 and Xbox and contained Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, and Batman Arkham Knight, as well as DLC for each game.
