A real competitor to the iPhone 13 and Galaxy S22: Xiaomi 12 Ultra is credited with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip and a price of about €1,000
We have repeatedly heard Xiaomi flagship 12 Ultra rumors, which should be a more advanced version of Xiaomi 12 Pro. However, they have not yet been confirmed. Nevertheless, another leak from China suggests that the advanced flagship Xiaomi 12 Ultra after all be.
What to expect?
If the leak is to be believed, Xiaomi is indeed planning to release the Xiaomi 12 Ultra later this year. This is probably the same Xiaomi 12U smartphone with the internal code name L2s, which was previously reported and which in the traditional flagship hierarchy of the company is located above Xiaomi 12 Pro.
So, according to rumors, this device will be presented in the second half of the year, and it will be sold at least in Europe. Xiaomi 12 Ultra is credited with an improved version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor created by TSMC - apparently it will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. It also talks about the presence of a periscope with 5 times increase.
However, one should not count on the fact that the new model will be inexpensive. The source expects the starting price to be 5,999 yuan, which is $940. So, probably, in Europe the phone will cost around €1000.
