Tecno Pova 5G: 120Hz screen, Dimensity 900 chip, 6000mAh battery and 50MP camera for $268

Tecno, as promised, held an event in India, where introduced smartphone Pova 5G.

What is known

This is the first device of the company with support for the fifth generation network. The novelty is running an eight-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 900 paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM (+3GB virtual memory) and 128 GB UFS 3.1 ROM. The smartphone received a microSD card slot up to 512 GB. 

As for other specifications, they include a 6.9-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the device was equipped with a 6000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging, a triple main camera of 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP, a single front camera of 16 MP, a headphone jack, a linear vibration motor and speakers with support for DTS sound. Out of the box, Tecno Pova 5G has the Android 11 operating system and the proprietary HiOS 8 shell.

Price and when to expect

Tecno Pova 5G will go on sale in India on January 14th. The novelty will cost $268. Whether the smartphone will appear in other regions is unknown.
