After half a year of rumors and leaks, Xiaomi has announced the date for the presentation of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone.

So, according to the manufacturer's official poster on the Weibo social network, the new product will be announced on February 16. That is, in a week. The event will take place at 19:00 local time (13:00 Kyiv time). 

The novelty will be the successor of last year's smartphone Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. According to the teaser, the device will receive a triple main camera. In addition, it will be equipped with RGB lighting and additional buttons on the side for games. 

Recall, Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is also credited with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a resolution of QHD + and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 64 MP + 13 MP + 2 MP camera, a 4700 mAh battery, 120 W fast charging and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor .

By the way, in addition to Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, Xiaomi is also preparing to release Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro+. Whether they will be shown at the presentation on January 16 is still unclear.
