Old Samsung hit switched to two updates per year ahead of One UI 4 on Android 12

Samsung plans to release three Android OS updates and four One UI skin updates for Galaxy A smartphones. But this does not mean that minor updates will be released every month.

The Samsung Galaxy A51, the bestseller of 2020, has been upgraded to a two-year update scheme. The first for him will be available very soon. According to the official schedule, the company will release One UI 4.0 firmware on Android 12 in the spring.

This will be the second major software update for it. The Samsung Galaxy A51 went on sale with a preinstalled Android 10 operating system, supplemented by the One UI 2 shell. The 5G version still receives updates quarterly.
