Activision has officially revealed its plans for a second season for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone new cinematic trailer and blog post.

As shown in the trailer, new additions to Warzone are armored vehicles such as deadly tanks, and the equally deadly Nebula V, a poisonous gas that has multiple implementations in the game. Nebula V: A new ammo type that can be picked up for ranged weapons. The gas does not deal any additional damage compared to standard bullets, but releases the toxin into the air when the target dies. Anyone stranded in the cloud will be hit with effects similar to being outside of a circle in Battle Royale. Vision narrows and the affected player takes damage over time.

Other innovations include armored transport trucks, a chemical plant, underground chemical research labs, bomber planes, and redeployment balloons that let you fly into the air and parachute to the nearest location.

Two new maps debut in Call of Duty: Vanguard: Casablanca and Gondola, each featuring a medium-sized, three-lane arena. Alongside this, a new kill streak and new power-ups are being introduced, and a new Arms Race mode will debut during the season.

The second season of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone begins February 14th.
