Lots of promo images and price of Redmi K50 Gaming Edition on Snapdragon 8 Gen1
The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition promo images have appeared on the official Redmi page on the Chinese social network Weibo, which revealed a number of features of the upcoming smartphone.
What is known
The model will be equipped with a 6.67” FHD+ OLED panel with support for a refresh rate of 144Hz and VSR technology, which is responsible for improving the smoothness of the picture in dynamic scenes. The displays will be supplied by Huaxing Optoelectronics. According to the manufacturer, the screen received an A + rating from DisplayMate and set 15 records during the tests.
Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will receive stereo speakers, a lightning flash, as in Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, and mechanical triggers on the right side of the case. Judging by the images, the physical buttons can be hidden using additional switches. For the first time in the short history of the Redmi brand, Gorilla Glass Victus will be used.
One of the features of the smartphone will be a vapor chamber with an area of 4860 mm2 for cooling the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip. The battery capacity will be 4700 mAh, and the fast charging power will be 120 watts. We also note the main camera with a resolution of 64 MP + 13 MP + 2 MP and a 16 MP front module for selfies.
Price
The presentation of Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will take place next week, February 16th. The smartphone will be available in 8/128 GB, 12/128 GB and 12/256 GB versions starting at $550.
