Despite the fact that Sifu was released on February 8, the game is already famous for its high complexity. It is not possible to reduce or increase it now, but the developers of Sloclap are already preparing an update that will add this feature, as well as several other accessibility options.

This was announced by co-founder Pierre Tarnot in his Twitch channel. In addition to managing the difficulty level, he also mentioned:

  • Improvements for subtitles. Probably, a regime will be introduced, where signatures accompany not only the phrases of the characters, but also the surrounding sounds.
  • If the character leans against the wall, the sound of footsteps will stop playing. This should help those players who determine by the sound of footsteps whether the protagonist continues to walk.
  • Pause in dialogues.
  • High-contrast mode can be enabled on the PlayStation. It discolors the surroundings and brightly highlights important objects in the frame - the character, enemies and interactive objects. This mode is already on the PC, but the consoles did not get through the bug.

Sifu has already become commercially successful - in four days it was played by more than half a million people. In addition, the developers mentioned that they provide free additional content. Whether it meant levels of difficulty or something more important is still unclear.
