Steam Next Fest will run from February 21-28. The festival promotes indie games
Valve has announced the dates for its Steam Next Fest, which will take place in the last week of February. Like previous events on Steam, Next Fest is a digital showcase of upcoming games on the platform from independent developers.
Valve has hosted several different indie game festivals on Steam, and most of them follow the same pattern. For a limited time, Steam is offering countless demos of new or upcoming games. They are accompanied by official streams from the developers, which gives players the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the games they are interested in. The presentation of the upcoming games is due to start on February 21st and run for seven days until February 28th.
Steam Next Fest will receive your own page, where users can watch live broadcasts and the best demos. However, one of the main gripes about previous Steam Festivals is that there are simply too many demos to explore. Valve has now addressed this issue by providing the ability to filter demos by genre and then filter those results by sub-genre and tags.
