Over 300 games verified on Steam Deck, including Death Stranding and RE: Village
Steam Deck launches on February 25th, and Valve is testing games for its handheld console. Over the past week, more than 150 games have received the status of "Verified" in the official rating system of Valve. According to the SteamDB watchlist, the total number reaches 310 games.
A "Tested" rating means that the game is fully compatible with the portable gaming PC. Games can also be rated as playable, which means that they will work but may have unoptimized elements such as controls or small text. And the third category — unsupported.
The main games of the current checked list include: God of War, Vampire Survivors, Psychonauts 2, Sekiro, Horizon Zero Dawn, FTL: Faster Than Light, Return of the Obra Dinn, several Yakuza games, Desperados 3, Tetris Effect and hits like : Death Stranding and Resident Evil Village.
SteamDB also contributed 211 playable games including The Witcher 3, Inscryption and Valheim. Only 60 games were deemed incompatible and rated "Unsupported", including Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Persona 4 Golden, and Fall Guys.
