Android 13 allowed you to run Windows 11 on your Google Pixel 6 smartphone and even play Doom
Last week, Google released the first Android 13 developer preview. At first glance, this is not a major update at all, but only minor changes in the operating system. But they also managed to find something interesting.

Thanks to the new KVM hypervisor in Android 13, an enthusiast was able to run on a Pixel 6 smartphone ARM version Windows 11. Initially, the operating system was very slow, but after making some amendments, it began to work much faster.
According to the developer, Windows 11 is "usable" but GPU hardware acceleration is not supported. If necessary, you can connect a keyboard to your smartphone and play the legendary Doom shooter.
In addition, the smartphone was also able to run various Linux distributions, including Ubuntu and Arch Linux.
Why Android 13 added new virtualization features is still unclear.
