What is known

Compared to the last quarter of 2020, Honor's shipments increased by 100%, placing it in second place in the market. The share of the brand, according to the analytical agency Counterpoint Research, increased from 7.5% to 16.7%.

Honor was second only to Apple, which increased its shipments by 13% and its share from 17.1% to 21.7%. OPPO's 14% drop sent the ex-market leader to third place. The share decreased from 17.3% to 16.6%. Vivo breathes in the back, controlling 16.5% of the market against 17% in the base period. She also shipped 14% fewer smartphones in the last three months of 2021 than in the same period in 2020.

Top 5 closes Xiaomi. Despite the 15% growth, it lost one position. This is due to the breakthrough of Honor. Xiaomi controlled 16.1% of the market in the reporting period. A year ago, the share was 12.5%. All other manufacturers in total supplied 12.4% (it was 28.6%) of smartphones.
