Xiaomi has announced a partnership with YouTube: some smartphones will receive a YouTube Premium subscription for free

Chinese company Xiaomi has announced a partnership with YouTube that will give some of its current and future devices free trials of YouTube Premium.

What does it mean?

While the offer is valid only for some new models:

  • Xiaomi 11T Pro
  • Xiaomi 11T
  • Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G
  • Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G
  • Redmi Note 11 Pro
  • Redmi Note 11S
  • Redmi Note 11

And this applies to smartphones activated after December 1, 2021.

As part of the promotion, their owners can get a free trial subscription of YouTube Premium for 3 months (2 months for the Redmi Note series). It allows you to watch videos without ads and in the background, as well as save videos. In addition, the subscription includes YouTube Music Premium with the same terms for the YouTube Music app.

However, the offer is not available for all countries.
