Rainbow Six Siege will get three new maps, strengthen the fight against toxic players and improve the settings for the game
Ubisoft has released a lengthy video outlining their plans for the seventh year of Rainbow Six Siege, and there's a lot of new content in store for us.
The most exciting announcement was that Siege will receive three new cards at age 7, one in each new season. The first will be a competitive map set in an Irish country club, while the second season features a team deathmatch map set in Greece. Season 3 will get another map, this time in Singapore, the home country of this season's new operative, Azami.
The team also outlined further efforts to combat toxic players. Spectators will now be able to report players they are spectating via match replay. And the team will actively disable voice and text chat features for players who have reported abuse.
Year 7 will also introduce a slew of new accessibility features, including more crosshair options, more granular gamepad customizations, and clearer markings indicating which team the gadgets that have been placed belong to.
