Announcement Soul Hackers 2 - continuation of the spin-off Shin Megami Tensei

The Japanese have the Shin Megami Tensei series from Atlus, which was added to the fifth part last year. And back in 1995, the Devil Summoner branch was created for SMT itself: it already includes two games, the last of which came out in 1997. In almost 25 years, the subseries will get a sequel, but without the Devil Summoner in the title.

The Soul Hackers 2 combat system remains true to the traditions of the classic Shin Megami Tensei games - turn-based battles using special techniques. From the new - building relationships in the group for the best synergy in battle.

According to the plot, the world is on the verge of apocalypse, so some higher entity instructs two agents to prevent a catastrophe. Ringo and Fig must find and protect certain people who can stop the destruction, but they are killed. Another's death will not prevent the agents, because Ringo is able to resurrect the fallen. In the hope of saving the world, the messengers will work with demons, people capable of controlling otherworldly creatures.

Soul Hackers 2 will be released August 26 2022 on PC (Steam), PlayStation and Xbox.
