Windows 11 Pro will soon require you to have a Microsoft account to install

Windows 11 Pro users must connect to the Internet and sign in with a Microsoft account during installation. This has already happened in the case of Windows 11 Home, but now this "feature" is being tested in Windows 11 Pro.

The change was detected in change logs  for Build 22557 Preview Windows 11. "Like Windows 11 Home Edition, Windows 11 Pro Edition now requires an Internet connection only during initial device setup (OOBE). If you decide to configure the device for personal use, you will also need an MSA to configure it. You can expect to need a Microsoft account for your next WIP flight. ”

Although Microsoft requires Windows 11 Home users to have a Microsoft account, it's a bit confusing why Windows 11 Pro users will suddenly need one. This is one of the few reasons why users pay extra for the Pro version. This will infuriate IT staff, who need to maintain many machines.
