Like Xiaomi 12, only bigger and simpler – Xiaomi 12 Lite details revealed

The xiaomiui publication has published a render and technical specifications of the Xiaomi 12 Lite, the presentation of which is expected in the coming weeks.

What is known

Xiaomi 12 Lite will be both an enlarged and simplified version of Xiaomi 12. According to new data, the smartphone will receive a 6.55” OLED panel with curved sides and FHD + resolution. The image refresh rate will be 120 Hz. Below the display is a fingerprint scanner.

The heart of the smartphone will be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7xx SoC. Most likely it will be Snapdragon 778G +, but it is possible to use an unannounced single-chip system from an American chipmaker. The main camera will have a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW3 image sensor.

Xiaomi 12 Lite will go on sale with pre-installed MIUI 13 firmware on Android 12. According to preliminary information, the upcoming novelty will be available only in the global market. True, Xiaomi CIVI is sold in China with an almost identical set of parameters.
