Steam users can now check the compatibility of their game library with Steam Deck
Steam users are looking forward to their portable Steam Deck devices. Now they can find out how compatible their game library is with the device.
Steam users can do this by logging into their Steam accounts. IN section of the Steam Deck website users can enter their account and see a breakdown of each game in their library, divided into one of four categories based on how well the game performs on a handheld device.
The first category is games tested on Steam Deck, that is, games that Valve itself has tested to work flawlessly with the device. Users can expect the game to work without having to make adjustments or modifications to it. The second category is games that can be played. Valve has confirmed that they will work on the device, but may require some tweaking from the user. The third category is unsupported games that have been confirmed to not currently run on the device. RThe developers of said games can still make changes on their end to fix this, but this is up to each individual developer or publisher.
The last category contains a lot of games that Valve hasn't tested yet. These games may work flawlessly, or they may not work at all.
The Steam Deck is scheduled to launch on February 25th.
