Space car Tesla Roadster has already covered 3,208,624,326 km

The Tesla Roadster, with a dummy behind the wheel, has been roaming outer space for the fifth year since it was launched into orbit by the Falcon Heavy launch vehicle on February 6, 2018.

According to the WhereisRoadster service, the vehicle has already covered 3,208,624,326 km at the time of writing. The car is moving at a speed of 21.61 km/s or 77,787 km/h. The warranty mileage of the machine has been exceeded by more than 55,000 times.

The Tesla Roadster is currently closer to Mars than Earth. The distance to the Red Planet is approximately 310 million km, to the Earth - 377.77 million km, to the Sun - 233.4 million km. Note that last year Radster flew at a distance of 8 million km from Mars. This will happen again in 2035.
