In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, ESET, headquartered in the EU, has stopped selling its products to home users, organizations and businesses in Russia and Belarus. This has happened before - in 2016, the sale of state organizations was banned due to the introduction by the Russian government of new tax rules and certification requirements aimed at supporting local vendors.

In addition, ESET provides € 500,000 in assistance to Ukrainian citizens in the form of direct grant support and donations through non-governmental organizations (namely INTEGRA and UNICEF). ESET also raises funds among employees and encourages staff to volunteer, as well as support the staff and families of ESET's exclusive distributor in Ukraine, including housing assistance, funds and essentials.

The company assures that, despite the fighting, users from Ukraine will continue to receive round-the-clock assistance from local specialists in cooperation with leading specialists from the headquarters. Also, all recently expired licenses will be automatically renewed.
