Last year Ken Pillonel did what Apple has been refusing to do – make an iPhone with a USB-C port. Ken has also modified some AirPods to have a USB C port. Ken converted an Android phone with a Lightning port to make his next Frankensteinian creation.

The device started life as a Samsung Galaxy A51 and it had a standard issue USB-C 2.0 port. The phone was fully functional with a Lightning port and support for charging. Here is a :

demo.

The creator says that a more detailed video is coming up soon. The video will delve deeper into what it took to pull off this transformation.

Although it is not the most practical creation, Ken Pillonel claims that after creating the USB-C iPhone, he wanted the world to be balanced. And it is an impressive feat of engineering.
