Motorola released Android 12 in February for Moto G Pro (aka Moto G Stylus), and now she has begun updating two more of her smartphones to the latest version of the OS.

Who got the update

The firmware was released for the top smartphones Motorola Edge (2021) and Motorola Edge Plus. In the first case, the system came out with the number S1RM32.48-18-11 and the March security patch. The firmware weighs more than 1 GB and is already available to users in the US. In other regions, OTA will appear a little later.

Motorola Edge Plus, in turn, received a system with the number S1PB32.41.10-17 and a weight of 1.45 GB. It has already begun to be distributed to smartphones in Europe.

As for the list of changes, it is the same for both devices. The devices received an updated interface, a new notification and quick settings curtain, as well as a new widget system. In addition, more privacy settings have been installed in the software, the Privacy Dashboard panel, where you can see what permissions applications have received, and much more.
