Samsung unveils Galaxy M53 5G with Dimensity 900 chip, 108MP camera and 120Hz display for $314

Samsung held an event in India where it introduced a new budget M-series smartphone.

What is known

The novelty was called Galaxy M53 5G. The device received a plastic case and a large 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz panel refresh rate. At the top of the screen, there is a hole for the 32 MP front camera. The main one, in turn, has four sensors at 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP.

The MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor is responsible for the performance of the device. The chip is paired with a built-in 5G modem, 6/8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB drive. If desired, the memory can be expanded up to 1 TB using a microSD card. For the autonomy of the Galaxy M53 5G, a 5000 mAh battery is responsible. It supports 25W fast charging. The novelty also has a slot for two SIM and Bluetooth 5.2.

Out of the box, the smartphone has the Android 12 operating system and the new One UI 4.1 shell.

Price and when to expect

Sales of the Galaxy M53 5G will start soon. The novelty will be available in three colors and with the following prices:
