New design and autonomy up to 40 hours with ANC: renders and specifications of Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones appeared on the network

Sony is preparing to release new flagship headphones WH-1000XM5, which will replace the current model WH-1000XM4.

What is known

Our colleagues from Techniknews got hold of high-quality images and some details about the new product. So, the headphones will finally get an updated design. It will be more minimalistic. As for the colors, there will still be two of them: black and white. 

Of the characteristics of the WH-1000XM5, they attribute Bluetooth 5.2, two processors, three microphones and increased autonomy up to 40 hours with noise reduction turned on. For comparison, the current model of headphones in this mode works for about 30 hours. The time to fully charge the novelty will be 3.5 hours. Naturally, the headphones will be charged through the USB-C port.

Unfortunately, there is no price and announcement date for the Sony WH-1000XM5 yet.
