Nvidia has released a new version of the GeForce Now gaming cloud service.

What is known

The new version of the application has been released with the number 2.0.40. The main innovation of the update was native support for the Apple M1 processor. Prior to this, the service worked on MacBook, iMac, and Mac Mini, but only through the browser. Using the app, the GeForce Now service will run faster on Apple devices, the company says. The program also reduces power consumption.

In addition to support M1, the new version of GeForce Now has also added a "Genre" section at the bottom of the "Games" menu, as well as streaming statistics. For example, server-side rendering frame rate.

When to expect

The GeForce Now 2.0.40 update will roll out to all users in the coming days.
