"Spider-Man: No Way Home" director John Watts has decided not to shoot the restart of "Fantastic Four"

Spider-Man director John Watts has refused to make Fantastic Four for MCU because he "needs a break from the world of superheroes."

The relaunch of "Fantastic Four" was announced in 2020, but so far the film is in the very early stages of production - the film does not yet have an approximate release date.
