Russia and Lenin's body are being sold as NFTs at auction: the money will go to help Ukraine

Georgian company Leavingstone launched a project Russia for Sale, within which everyone will be able to purchase subjects of the Russian Federation in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The proceeds will go to help Ukraine.

What is known

Employees of the company from Tbilisi worked on the project for more than a month. The sale will take place in three stages. At the first stage, everyone will be able to purchase a district or a city in Russia. Moscow and St. Petersburg are the most expensive - 4 each ETH ($11,360).

As part of the second stage, users will be able to acquire tourist facilities in the Russian Federation. For example, Putin's personal home, the Winter Palace or the Kremlin. Finally, at the third stage, only one lot will be sold - the embalmed body of Lenin.

On the project website Russia for Sale indicated that the funds will be transferred to the wallets of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. In addition, 5% of each next resale of tokens will be transferred to the account. Currently on site opensea several dozen tokens worth more than $20,000 were sold.
