On Rozetka, legendary stamps with a Russian ship were sold out in 3 minutes: the load on the site exceeded Black Friday by dozens of times
Today at 10:00 on the site Rozetka began selling the legendary postage stamps about the Russian warship. And there were so many people who wanted to make a purchase that the site could not withstand the load.
What happened?
Rozetka received only 5,000 marks for sale, the remainder of the circulation that the head of Ukrposhta, Igor Smelyansky, offered to sell on the marketplace. Sales started at 10:00, and already at 10:03 the stamps ended. In addition, due to the large influx, the site "lay down".
“2500 people placed an order in 1 second. This load exceeded the load of Black Friday dozens of times. While we calmly endure millions of people a day, a million people an hour have not yet learned. Our IT raised the site in an hour. But there were no more stamps. Because they have not been there since 10:03,” said Vladislav Chechetkin, co-founder of the marketplace.
Some users managed to buy stamps during this hour, when the load on the system subsided somewhat. But these are isolated cases.
But there is also good news: Ukrposhta is preparing a new edition of stamps about the Russian warship and promises to increase circulation to 5 million.
