5.7″ display, 13 MP camera and Snapdragon 695 chip: Sharp AQUOS Wish 2 budget smartphone introduced

Behind the flagship AQUOS R7, Sharp showed another budget model of the AQUOS Wish 2 smartphone in Japan.

What is known

The novelty is the successor of last year's model AQUOS Wish. The device is equipped with a compact 5.7-inch HD+ display and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. The chip is paired with 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB UFS 2.1 storage. If desired, the memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1 TB.

As for the cameras, there are two of them in the new product: one main 13 MP and one frontal 8 MP. AQUOS Wish 2 is powered by a 3730 mAh battery. It supports PD 3.0 fast charging. By the way, the novelty is 35% made of recycled plastic. The device comes with Android 12 operating system.

Price and when to expect

Sharp AQUOS Wish 2 will go on sale in Japan in June. The price of the novelty is not yet available.
