ZTE Axon 40 Ultra: Snapdragon 8 Gen1, under-screen camera, 144Hz display, up to 1TB storage starting at $745

Company ZTE announced a flagship smartphone Axon 40 Ultra. The novelty boasts a new generation of under-screen selfie camera.

What is known

The flagship is enclosed in a glass case with an aluminum frame. Front mounted 6.8" display AMOLED with the support HDR10+ and 144Hz. Permission - 1116 x 2480 points. In addition to the front camera, a fingerprint scanner is also built into the screen.

For performance ZTE Axon 40 Ultra meets 4nm chipset snapdragon eight Gen1 with a peak frequency of 3 GHz, and for autonomy - a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The chip is paired with 8GB/16GB of RAM, and the battery boasts 80W fast charging.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra equipped with a triple main camera with a resolution of 64 MP. The ultra-wide and wide-angle modules use a sensor Sony IMX787. The second can boast OIS. The model of the sensor in the telephoto lens is not specified. The module itself has an EGF of 91 mm, OIS and an approximation of approximately 2.6x without quality loss. Selfie camera resolution - 16 MP.

The novelty has acquired stereo speakers, Wi-fi / Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. Water resistant, headphone jack and slot for microSD missing. The flagship works on Android 12 with sheath myOS 12.

Issue price

The cost of the smartphone starts at $745 for the 8/256 GB version. Sales will start on May 13th. The novelty will also be available in 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB and 16/1024 GB configurations. At the advent ZTE Axon 40 Ultra outside of China is not particularly worth counting.
