Following TV and Lenta.ru: RuTube does not work due to a powerful cyber attack

Hackers did a great job today: at first we wrote about hacks site Lenta.ru and broadcasting networks of Russian TV channels, and now the RuTube video service has undergone a powerful cyber attack.

What happened?

The incident (with a touch of humor) was reported by the head of the Ministry of Digital Development Mikhail Fedorov:

“Now I’ll show you where the attack was being prepared on Rutube. And if the servers had not been turned off 6 hours before the parade - four servers, I will now show the motherboards, I brought them - they would have shown everyone this nonsense ... Well, you understand) ”

The RuTube team has confirmed that the video service is down. How long the recovery process will take is unclear.
