Anonymous claimed responsibility for hacking Russian video hosting RuTube
The other day we wrote that hackers attacked Russian video hosting RuTube. As it turned out, Anonymous is behind this.
What is known
About it hacktivists reported on their official Twitter page. According to the hackers, 75% of the databases of the main version and 90% of the video hosting backup are damaged.
According to Anonymous, RuTube is unlikely to be able to recover, although the company itself denies this and says that it is already engaged in restoration work. This process may take more than one week.
“The gloomy forecasts have nothing to do with the present state of affairs: the source code is available, the library is intact. Now the process is underway to restore segments of the file system of remote environments and databases on a part of the servers, ”Andrey Litvinov, technical director of RUTUBE, assured.
