The flagship Sony Xperia 1 IV is presented with an old design and updated stuffing
After Xperia 10 IV, Sony also announced its new flagship smartphone Xperia 1 IV (Xperia 1 Mark 4) in Europe.

As in the case with Xperia 10 IV, the device received the old design and new characteristics. It was equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED display. As with the previous model, the panel received 4K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 21:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. According to the manufacturer, the screen has only become 50% brighter.
The flagship is powered by a fresh Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The chip is paired with 12 GB of RAM. The drive is new in two options: 256 GB or 512 GB. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. It supports 30W fast wired charging and the same wireless. Naturally, the smartphone received IP68 protection, stereo speakers with Hi Res Audio and Android 12 operating system out of the box.
The main camera in the novelty is still triple. All sensors received modules of 12 MP. The main one has f/1.7 aperture and a 1/1.7-inch sensor. Next comes the 16mm f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens and finally the 85 to 125mm telephoto lens with f/2.3 to f/2.8. All sensors support OIS (optical image stabilization). On the front, a 12-megapixel selfie camera was installed, which now supports 4K HDR video recording.
Price and when to expect
It is not worth waiting for a novelty in the near future. According to the company, the Xperia 1 IV will only go on sale in the fall. The device will cost $1599.
