OnePlus recently released a beta version of its OxygenOS 12 software for the OnePlus Nord smartphone. It looks like the release was a success because the company has already started rolling out the stable OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12.

What's new?

The firmware weighs as much as 4 GB, contains the April security patch, and also fixes some problems. Specifically, we fixed an issue with abnormal touch sounds, loading animations, and an occasional issue where "Ok Google" could not be launched by voice.

However, some issues remain unresolved. In particular, the display of some pages in the settings differs from the system one, the screen is buggy in certain scenarios when making a call, the camera may freeze when taking photos in portrait mode, etc.

It is important to note that the OTA update is only available for Indian users and the European version of the firmware is still being tested. In any case, users outside of India probably won't have to wait long for the update.
