In all details: Ukrainian volunteers created a virtual tour of the destroyed "Mriya"

Volunteer project 360war.in.ua created virtual tour on the An-225 "Mriya" aircraft destroyed by the invaders.

What was shown

On spherical (with 360° coverage) images, you can see the hangar at the Gostomel airport and the remains of the aircraft in all details.

“Unfortunately, this is not at all the premiere that Ukrainians would like to please this spring. But we are launching a virtual tour of this majestic, once the most powerful aircraft in the world,” volunteers say on social networks.

Recall that until recently, the An-225 Mriya was the largest and most powerful aircraft in the world. It was built in 1988 in the shortest possible time - in 3.5 years. The aircraft set more than 240 world and national records, which were included in the Guinness Book of Records.

On February 27, 2022, the aircraft was destroyed as a result of an air raid by Russian invaders on the airfield in Gostomel. According to preliminary estimates, it will take more than $3 billion and about 5 years to restore it.
