Samsung unexpectedly released a new system update for its four-year-old flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 9.

The firmware received build number N960FXXS9FVE1. The latest Google security patch has been added to the software, which closes many system vulnerabilities. In addition, the developers also fixed some bugs and optimized the smartphone.
When to expect
The new version of the software has already begun to receive Galaxy Note 9 owners in Germany. In the near future, the firmware will be available in other European countries.
Recall that Samsung released the Galaxy Note 9 in mid-2018 with Android 8.1 on board. The phone was updated to Android 9 in early 2019 and to Android 10 in early 2020. After that, the device began to receive only security patches.
