Motorola Razr 3 will be the first foldable smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip (but this is not certain)
Information has already appeared on the network more than once that Motorola is working on a new Razr 3 clamshell. Now the manufacturer has officially confirmed this.
What is known
The company published a teaser on the Weibo social network, according to which the device will work on the new flagship processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. Recall that the current model of the series runs on mid-range SoC.
By the way, The Razr 3 could be the first foldable smartphone on the market to feature the new chip. According to rumors, the device will debut in mid-summer.
As a reminder, Razr 3 will receive an updated look that will more closely resemble the Galaxy Z Flip 3 (aka Galaxy Flip 3). The smartphone will be equipped with two displays: the main one with FHD+ resolution and an additional screen on the outside. The novelty will install a dual main camera with a main sensor of 50 MP. It will be complemented by a 13 MP wide-angle lens with a macro function. The front, in turn, will receive a 32 MP sensor. It will be installed in the hole of the main screen.
