Xiaomi has updated the Xiaomi EOS (End of Support) list, which includes devices that have lost manufacturer support.
Who is on the list?
And this list is replenished: Xiaomi officially stops supporting smartphones Mi 9T, Redmi K20, Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3. This means that they will no longer receive operating system updates or security patches.
Recall that all these four models came out with a pre-installed MIUI 10 interface on top of Android 9. The latest update for Mi 9T was the MIUI 12 version based on Android 11 – even the gadget did not receive MIUI 12.5. Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 are the latest to receive the MIUI 11 skin based on Android 10 as Global ROM. In addition, Redmi 7 received the MIUI 12.5 update in China.
