There seems to be only one addon in Cyberpank 2077
In April 2020, CD Project RED said that it plans to support Cyberpank 2077 at the level of The Witcher 3 - including the number of additions. But a lot of water has flowed since then, which seems to have narrowed the game's development plan to just one addon.
This was mentioned by the head of CD Project RED Adam Kychynsky when answering questions from investors in the latest financial report. Earlier, the company said that the next "Witcher" will work on Unreal Engine, against which there was such a dialogue:
"How does Unreal Engine fit into your technical plan? How many years do you think you will still be supporting two engines? Does it make sense or do you streamline the process?"
Extensions for Cyberpank 2077 is the latest product based on REDEnginen All our next projects will be based on Unreal "
Kichinsky said that the expansion in the singular and directly stated that there will be no other projects on REDEngine. It is unlikely that the second add-on for Cyberpank 2077 will suddenly be released on Unreal Engine, so the conclusion is obvious - at the moment, only one big add-on is planned for the game.
