Sharp unveils new AQUOS TV with 65-inch XLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate

Sharp announces its new smart TV in China AQUOS XLED F8.

What is known

The novelty received a 65-inch display with XLED matrix. According to the manufacturer, this is something between IPS and OLED panels. The technology combines the main features of the two matrices. The XLED display on the TV has a peak brightness of 1800 nits and 2160 local dimming zones. On top of that, it boasts a 120Hz refresh rate. The novelty works under the control of a proprietary processor. The device has 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB drive. The TV received Wi-Fi 6 and stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support.

When to expect

Sharp will start selling the AQUOS XLED F8 in China soon. They will ask for $2500 for the novelty.
