Confirmed: Samsung's new smartwatch will be called the Galaxy Watch 5 and won't get a Classic model

In April, SamMobile wrote that the company Samsung will remove the Classic model from the new line of smart watches. There is now evidence of this on the web.

What is known

Recently, the Korean manufacturer released One UI Watch Beta for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic  and a new version of the Samsung Health app. It found mention of two unannounced watches of the company: Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

Unfortunately, the leak does not reveal the specifications of the new products, but according to rumors, the models will differ in size, batteries and the presence of a rotating bezel. Although there is also information that the bezel may disappear altogether from the new series.

Naturally, the watch will come with an operating system Wear OS 3, on top of which they will install a new proprietary shell.

When to expect

Samsung has yet to reveal a release date for the watch, but it is rumored that it will be released in August along with Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
