Armed Forces of Ukraine began testing "reconnaissance video tube" with a camera and a display
The Turn Back Alive charitable foundation reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine began testing the "reconnaissance video tube" on the front line.
What is known
The fund reported that in some sectors of the front the war is gradually becoming positional, which is why enemy snipers begin to work on the positions of the Ukrainian military. In order to keep an eye on the enemy, the volunteers created a "reconnaissance video tube", which will allow you to observe the enemy from a long distance without endangering the lives of our military.
The device is equipped with an ultra-wide-angle camera and a high-resolution display. The Turn Back Alive Foundation sent five test devices to the front lines. After receiving feedback from the military, the foundation team will finalize the “video tube” and launch mass production.
The initial goal is to produce 100 devices, and in the long term - to provide them with the entire front. The cost of one device is $320 or approximately UAH 11,250. You can help the fund here.
