Re-announcement of ROUTINE - space horror, which has been done for 10 years
The first announcement ROUTINE took place almost 10 years ago - in August 2012. Developers from Lunar Software worked on the project for so long that they announced it again - the debut (well, almost) video was presented at Summer Game Fest 2022.
IN ROUTINE you will find yourself in an abandoned lunar station. The key features of the game - a minimum of interface, a combination of stealth battles, as well as music from Mick Gordon, composer of the latter Wolfenstein, DOOM and Pray.
In his address, the staff Lunar Software told what happened to the project for many years:
- Five years after the start of development, the developers assumed that the game was ready to launch. But they found more and more things that did not suit them and did not want to release ROUTINE in this form. Lunar Software decided to start from scratch
- The team had to survive on a very limited budget. Gradually ROUTINE turned into a side project, which had to be combined with other work
- Eventually the studio found the publisher in person Raw Fury - With his support, the team finally had the opportunity to bring the case to an end
The authors do not want to repeat the mistake and name the release dates without full confidence that the game will start on time. Therefore, so far only the list of platforms is known - PC(Steam ) and Xbox, including Game Pass.
